この歌は、タイトル通り、世界を変えようとしている人たちをテーマにした歌です。
殺伐としたメロディが印象的で、怒りや覚悟、まわりを取り囲む騒乱の様子まで伝わってきます。
リンキン好きの方は、いつか必ずやると、少なからず予想していたのではないでしょうか…。
ダンテェイの相棒と同んなじ名前ですからね。
当初は、前半の過去に起きた事件を思い返している感じから、初代のがいいかな、とか思っていたのですが、後半の”we like each other”を訳す段階になって思い直しました。
確か、DMC4に似たような題名のムービーがあった気がしたので…ね。
たまにはオッサンにもシリアスになってもらおうと。
サビの歌詞は、聞き手に対する投げかけにも思えますが、自虐的になってでも現状を受け入れようとしている風にも思えます。
色々思いを巡らせてみると、尚更聞きたくなる歌です。
